PSLE P6 Chinese

PSLE P6 Chinese exam consists of the following three papers:

  • Test Paper 1 : Writing – 50 minutes – 40 marks / 20%
    This paper includes propositional composition and picture composition, candidates can choose a question to answer, the number of words must be over 100. Candidates can use the dictionary prescribed by the Board of Examinations.
  • Test Paper 2: Language Application and Reading Comprehension – 1 hour 40 minutes – 90 marks / 45%
    This paper consists of two parts:

          Part A examines items including: language applications, essay filling, and reading comprehension.

          Part B examines items such as completing dialogue and reading comprehension II.

  • Test Paper 3 : Oral and Listening Comprehension -10 minutes – 50 marks / 25%
    This paper includes reading a chapter aloud and engaging in dialogue according to the video clip. Before the exam, the candidate has 10 minutes to silently read the chapter and watch a short video.
