FairPrice Group’s Share-A-Textbook Distribution Drive 2024
An annual event spearheaded by Fairprice Group, Share-A-Textbook Distribution Drive takes place at Yishun Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre this year and our parents and student volunteers are proud to be part of this event.
Why be part of this Share-A-Textbook Drive?
Each year, our graduating batch of students often have tonnes of books to give away. Share-A-Textbook is the best opportunity for all students to donate their texts and help make Singapore a sharing nation and a better place that supports sustainability.
By sharing your books:
You reduce waste: Fewer books need to be printed, saved from landfills, or disposed of.
You conserve resources: Book production involves deforestation, water, and energy use—sharing minimises that impact.
You promote circularity: The more we circulate our books, the fewer new ones need to be created, preserving forests and reducing carbon emissions.
